A peltier cooler, also known as a thermoelectric cooler is an interesting device, now used in many modern electronic devices like air conditioning, coolers or in a powerful computer system. I really like using this product due to these following reasons:
1. This module can be used to generate electricity and act as a cooler/heater with a wide range of current (0A - 10A) which you can supply to it and a wide range of voltage (0 - 10 volts) which you can power it up with.
2. This product has the ability to last for long hours (200000 hours) in a project box or in a cooling system, but it is important that you power this module with a heatsink on the hot side as it will damage your module if you do not. I recommend also adding some sort of thermal insulating medium, like thermal paste, thermal glue or thermal tape to assist with the heat absorption to your heatsink, as this module can get pretty hot rapidly.
3. The wire which is attached to the module is a high quality standard of electrical wire (AWG 20), where it is durable to high amounts of tensions and bends. The wire length is 30 cm, good enough for attaching it to other micro controllers, components or boxes.
4. The product size itself is very thin in size and in the shape of a square, so being able to put this onto a heatsink can be easy to do as heatsinks for certain dimensions can be hard to find sometimes.
